Okavyx was founded by Steve Ogilvie after 30 years in enterprise IT: help desks, server rooms, cloud migrations, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 deployments across Australia and New Zealand.

A career sabbatical provided the space to step back and see where the industry was heading. The answer was clear: AI was no longer theoretical, but most businesses had no idea where to start. Three decades of keeping real systems running told us this was the same job we'd always done, just with a powerful new tool.

Okavyx exists to bridge that gap. We bring the infrastructure knowledge that makes AI actually work in practice, not just in demos.

We run our own operations on AI, built on Claude and Codex: drafting documentation, publishing content, and taking care of the repetitive work behind the business. Not chatbots: operational agents. We built it to prove what's possible, and we use it every day.

Infrastructure first

AI doesn't run on good intentions. It runs on servers, APIs, networks, and security policies. Three decades of managing that stack means we know exactly where AI fits and where it doesn't.

Honest about limitations

We'll tell you when AI isn't the answer. We'd rather lose a sale than sell you something that won't work. That's not a marketing line; it's how we operate.
